The Right to Information (RTI) is the Queensland Government's approach to giving the community greater access to information.
The Queensland Government has made a commitment to provide access to information held by the Government, unless on balance it is contrary to the public interest to provide that information.
Legislation replacing the Freedom of Information Act 1992 came into effect on 1 July 2009, namely:
- the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI)
- the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP).
The right to information reforms aim to make more information available, provide equal access to information across all sectors of the community, and provide appropriate protection for individuals' privacy.
For more information about the legislation and whole-of-government policy, go to www.qld.gov.au/righttoinformation.

Most documents are only available as PDF. If you have difficulty accessing this information please contact us and we will endeavour to meet any reasonable request for an alternate version of the document without charge.
Our disclosure log provides details of information that has been released in response to non-personal right to information requests since the Right to Information Act 2009 commenced on 1 July 2009. It gives a description of the information released and, where possible, a link to the relevant documents.
In accordance with Information Privacy Principles and the Information Privacy Act 2009 this disclosure log does not include requests for personal information.
To date, GAWB has not released any information that can be published.
APPLICATIONS UNDER THE Right To Information Act 2009 OR THE Information Privacy Act 2009.
Please consider first what other options are available to you to access the information and if you cannot get the information elsewhere, make an application under the RTI Act or IP Act.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. For details on our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information, or your privacy while on our website, visit our privacy statement.
