Our commitment to developing meaningful and beneficial partnerships demonstrates our dedication to fostering a thriving and sustainable Central Queensland for present and future generations.
Community investment at GAWB may be in-kind support or a financial contribution for community-led initiatives or individual pursuits which meet eligibility requirements.
It could also be a donation (financial or in-kind) for charitable causes or hire of our community assets such as the GAWB hydration station, marquee or water coolers.

To apply, please ensure you have:
GAWB community investment criteria in a snapshot
GAWB aims to provide support to individuals and community groups which meet the below criteria. Applications will be assessed as they are submitted.
Applications should, where possible, be submitted at least three months before support is required to ensure adequate assessment time. Generally,
applications for support within one to four weeks of the date of submission will not be granted.

Do you or your club want to hold an event at Lake Awoonga?
Please complete an Application to hold event at Lake Awoonga and submit it to GAWB at least three months before your planned event.
Please note if your event is aquatic ie on the lake, an application must also be made to Maritime Safety Queensland:
