Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, with particular focus on safely optimising operational productivity. This position further supports the Operations and Maintenance teams in the use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to continually enhance the capability and qualitative aspects of the delivery of day-to-day preventative maintenance and project work
The role of the Facilities Maintenance Field Officer is to assist with the delivery of the non-network related asset maintenance programmes at an operational level, providing support to management in the development, procurement and delivery of non-network asset maintenance programmes and maintenance projects and works programs. The position is required to assist with the day-to-day operation and upkeep of GAWB’s owned and leased premises, facility systems, equipment, and ancillary assets.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner with demonstrated leadership skills. You will have high attention to detail and thrive in a busy and growing environment. You are a generalist who can operate at a strategic and tactical level, as this is a small team environment. You are skilled in building process and communications architecture and systems. Key to your success is your ability to plan and engage with the community and external stakeholders. This role is reactive and proactive however will have a strong advocacy focus.
The Safety Systems Specialist position provides high quality support and advice to implement key components of the organisation’s safety strategy. The role assists with specialised Work Health & Safety Management System development, implementation and support, and health and safety project delivery. The role requires a high level of consultation and engagement with operational teams as they outwork the initiatives contained within the Safety Action Plan (SAP). Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this position will commence as an 18-month, fixed-term contract.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will contribute to the achievement of GAWB’s business goals and strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for Capital leads, Capital Projects and Engineering functions to effectively set and implement the strategy and framework for the planning and delivery of GAWB’s investments in complex and high-value capital projects across the water supply network.
This exciting role leads the planning, development, implementation, and execution of GAWB’s Capital Projects Portfolio across the business. The position incumbent leads the project team in all functions throughout the project lifecycle ensuring governance requirements and business objectives are aligned for the project works entirety.
