Provide feedback

GAWB encourages and appreciates your feedback. It helps shape the ways we interact with our stakeholders, including customers and community members.

We’re committed to effective complaints management. Stakeholders wishing to make a complaint will be treated with respect, be provided with assistance where needed, and will have their complaints appropriately managed through the GAWB complaints management process. GAWB will handle complaints in a responsive, confidential, and objective manner.

Human rights will be considered throughout the complaints process.

How to make a complaint or provide feedback including compliments (general)

You can make a complaint or raise feedback on any matter with us. For example, if you are dissatisfied with an action or decision made by GAWB, its employees or persons it has engaged to provide services on its behalf, and that action or decision directly affects you.  This may include:

  • customer service provided
  • impacts to stakeholders because of GAWB’s operations
  • a decision made or failure to make a decision
  • an act or failure to act.

You can lodge a complaint or provide feedback via:

Complaints made on an anonymous basis may limit how we can review and respond to the complaints. We can only address the content of a complaint where there is sufficient information to do so. GAWB may also not be able to investigate complaints if the complaint is abusive, threatening or contains offensive language.

We will endeavour to acknowledge your complaint/feedback within five business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. If the complaint may take longer to resolve or respond to, we will advise why and provide you with regular updates.

If you are not happy with the outcome of your complaint, you can request an internal review.

If you are still not satisfied with the internal review, you can contact the Queensland Ombudsman
