There’s an exciting opportunity to own some prime real estate in the Gladstone CBD, with Gladstone Area Water Board now opening an Expression of Interest for the possible sale and leaseback of their headquarters.
The five-story building on 136 Goondoon Street will be advertised through Ray White Commercial from Friday 28 February 2025.
It’s a decision Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) CEO Darren Barlow believes best suits the changing office accommodation needs of GAWB given its growth over the years and the delivery of major new assets such as the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline (FGP) .
“This building has served us well for the past six years and now it’s an opportunity for a new organisation to own this prime real estate in the heart of Gladstone, while we retain our strong connection to Central Queensland.
“GAWB was formed in Gladstone in 1973 and for more than fifty years we have been proudly supporting the people and industry of Gladstone.
“Today we have a dedicated team, safely and reliably water to customers and delivering the FGP and enhanced water security for the region.
“GAWB has a long future ahead and this leaseback option will give us greater flexibility to adapt as needed.”
Interested businesses are encouraged to contact John Dwyer and Andrew Allen from Ray White Commercial Queensland and Ray White Gladstone for more information. GAWB is open to all expressions of interest for a a sale with lease back option.
